Calico Agate is mined near Chihuahua, Mexico. It is characterized by translucent agate with orbs of mossy-looking pale lavender and surrounded by a tan and white speckled agate.

It is suggested that this stone balances the yin-yang energy. It is a grounding stone providing positive and balanced energy. It was apparently one of the stones used in the breast plate of a high priest.
