Giant Mackeral Shark Tooth (Otodus Shark)

The fossils of Otodus indicate that it was a very large macro-predatory shark. The largest known teeth measure about  4.1 in. The vertebral centrum of this shark are over 5 inches wide. Scientists suggest that this shark at least reached 30 ft in total length. Otodus likely preyed upon large bony fish and other sharks. It was among the top predators of its time.
